Kevin Pietersen reckoned on air that the injury was worse than a bruise and Green was taken off. It is still not clear whether he will come out and bat again. At the moment, he is sitting at the dugout with a strapped left arm.

“This might be a little bit worse than a bruise,” Kevin Pietersen said on air.

Cameron Green is a crucial cog in Australia’s Test team. Without Green, Australia suffered during Border Gavaskar Trophy. As Green is a seam-bowling all-rounder, it helps Australia bring in an additional batter or a spinner to the side.
