England WC Schedule: Defending champions England are eyeing back-to-back World Cup titles. After securing their first-ever victory in the 50-over tournament in 2019 at Lord’s, Jos Buttler & Co will begin their campaign on the opening day on October 5. In a repeat of 2019 Final, it will be a mouth-watering England vs New Zealand clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

England will enter the tournament as the favourites that is scheduled to be held in India. Having led his team to victory at the T20 World Cup last year, Buttler is looking add another feather to his cap as the England skipper.

England is set to begin their campaign against the 2019 World Cup runner-up New Zealand. The match is scheduled to be played on 5th October 2023. It will be a repeat of the previous edition’s final, which went all the way to the Super-Over before England clinched a dramatic win based on boundary count.

Other important clashes for England include their match against Australia on November 4. The defending champions will then face hosts India in a blockbuster contest on Sunday, 29th October. Their last two league matches are scheduled against Qualifier 1 and Pakistan on November 8 and 11.
