Set to chase their first win of the cmapaign, both Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals were desperate to take 2 points from the game. Winning the toss, Rohit Sharma opted to bowl first as he wished to chase. In the previous 2 matches, MI lost after batting first. Determined to get a good start, DC started their innings on a positive note.
But Prithvi Shaw’s rough patch continued when he went on to throw away his wicket by playing a hasty sweep shot. Debutant Yash Dhull too failed to showcase his mark after being dismissed for just 2 runs.
