Colombo Weather clears up before SL vs BAN clash, sunny sky greets teams

Bright & Clear skies in Colombo renews hopes of rain-free match in SL vs BAN tie of Asia Cup 2023 Super 4s clash

After dark and gloomy days, there is some good news in terms of Colombo Weather. Rain that has been playing spoilsport in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 can threaten the remaining Super 4s clash. But currently, the weather is clear and pleasant and ACC expects a stellar clash between Sri Lanka vs Bangladesh (SL vs BAN) on Saturday.

India’s both matches have been affected by rain in the previous 2 matches. And there is a further 80-90% chance of rain on Sunday, 10th September when the two heavy-weights India and Pakistan clash yet again to claim bragging rights.

While there is a huge threat of rain in the next couple of days in the capital city of the Emerald Isles, the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) decided against shifting the venue from Colombo. But ACC does have contingency plans ready should the rain go on to wash out the matches. In such a case, the venues might be altered.
