Bangladesh’s motivation for IND vs BAN series
The Bangladesh team arrived in Chennai on Sunday, four days ahead of the first Test. As per Times of India, the team’s media manager revealed that the team had met Nobel laurate and chief advisor to the interim government Muhammad Yunus and had received some much-needed motivation ahead of the tour to India.
“Yunus told the team that in these trying times, cricket can truly act as a balm. He congratulated the team for their success in Pakistan and wished them well for the series against India,” Imam said.

The Bangladesh team media manager further credited the mental resilience of the team members in their historic series victory at Pakistan despite the turmoil back at home. He added that normalcy was returning to Bangladesh, noting that the team had a six-day camp before departing to India.
