The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has appointed Shyama Dey Shaw and VS Thilak Naidu as the two new selectors for India Women’s Cricket Team and junior cricket team respectively. While the Indian board is in no hurry to find Chetan Sharma’s replacement in BCCI Selection Committee, women’s team and junior team have received a boost.
With Sharath Sridharan moving up to the senior team, it opened up a vacancy in the junior team. Thilak Naidu will occupy the position. Based on his seniority, the former Karnataka selector will also head the junior committee.
