CPL 2021: From Imran Tahir to Dwayne Bravo, 5 players to watch in the Caribbean Premier League- The much-awaited Caribbean Premier League (CPL 2021) is all set to kick start on August 26. Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) will take on Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) in the opening encounter. As many as 8 teams will contest against each other as defending champions TKR look to retain their title.  The matches will kick off as early as 7.30 PM IST. The upcoming contest will give the players an opportunity to showcase their skills and stay in the fray for the national callups. Sunil Narine- Trinbago Knight Riders

Ace spinner Sunil Narine will look to help TKR win their 4th CPL title. He holds the key to slog overs with the ability to change the context of the game. Besides this, Narine can also contribute with the bat and add some crucial runs. He will also look to return to form ahead of the IPL 2021 Phase 2 in UAE. He has experience playing as many as 363 IPL fixtures with 400 wickets and 2578 runs, including 9 fifties.

Dwayne Bravo- St Kitts & Nevis Patriots

Former TKR allrounder Dwayne Bravo will play for St Kitts & Nevis Patriots in CPL 2021. He will look to groom the youngsters at the lower-rated franchise. The 37-year-old veteran has won a number of T20 titles around the world. He has scored 6429 runs and took as many as 532 wickets. Bravo has the ability to change the game on its head in the shortest format.

Andre Russell- Jamaica Tallawahs

West Indies allrounder Andre Russell will look to return to form in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). The 33-year-old has the ability to play game-changing innings. He has amassed 6225 and scalped 325 wickets in 369 T20Is. The stats speak volumes about his importance as a finisher. He will look to guide Jamaica Tallawahs to their 3rd title.

Imran Tahir- Guyana Amazon Warriors

South Africa spinner Imran Tahir will look to emulate his recent success at The Hundred in IPL 2021. He has taken 9 wickets in 8 matches including 5 wicket-haul for Birmingham Phoenix. The veteran of 322 T20s has taken 406 wickets with the ability to change the game during the middle-overs. It will be interesting to see if Tahir can guide Guyana Amazon Warriors to the first CPL title.
