Mitchell Starc played a crucial role in Australia’s victory over India in the World Test Championship (WTC) final. Starc celebrated his team’s iconic victory with wife Alyssa Healy who was present at the venue during the high-octane clash. Earlier on Day 4, Healy was also captured taking notes while Starc was batting in the second innings.
The couple have always been seen cheering for their partner whenever one of them is playing for the national side. Notably, Healy came to root for Starc during the 2015 World Cup which Australia won against New Zealand. Then Starc was seen at the ground during Australia’s women ICC title victories in 2020 and 2022 T20 WCs and 2022 Commonwealth Games.
“We were patient enough against a quality line-up, and managed to get the breakthroughs needed. Rub off the green went our way, a smart catch from Smith and to get Kohli early on was a big boost. He played well in the first innings (about Rahane), was a nice partnership as well, we knew if we stick to our task we will get chances and they did come,” Starc said after the match.
