Speaking on SEN radio, Pucovski announced that he will not be playing cricket at any level again. As per reports, the batter was compelled to make the call following recommendations from a panel of experts.

I wish I was coming in maybe under better circumstances. I’m not going to be playing cricket again. It’s been a really difficult year to put it as simply as possible,” Pucovski said.

In 36 first-class matches, Pucovski scored 2,350 runs at an average of 45.19, including seven centuries. In his sole Test appearance, against India at Sydney in the 2020/21 season, he made 62 and 10.

History of Concussions:

  • He managed only one Test against India, scoring 72 runs.
  • In February 2022, he suffered his 11th concussion, followed by a mental health break in October of the same year.
