The Pakistan vs Bangladesh match in the ongoing Asia Cup was halted for some time as one of the floodlight installed in the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore got shut down due to some malfunction. The fans on social media lambasted PCB for their poor management while organizing the marquee event. The lights were repaired in about 15 minutes as the game resumed once more.

Pakistan bowled out Bangladesh for just 193 runs

Earlier in the game, Pakistani pacers did an exceptional job to restrict Pakistan for just 193 runs. Skipper Shakib al Hasan and Mushfiqur Rahim stroked fifties with the bat but that was not enough in the end. The pace trio of Shaheen, Haris and Naseem Shah scalped a total of eight wickets in the first innings.
