Chris Jordan hammered a 17-ball fifty in Big Bash League to register his name in the history books. The English bowler, became the fourth fastest player in the history of the Big Bash League to slam the fastest fifty.
Playing for Hobart Hurricanes, Chris Jordan unleased a fury with his bat as he thrashed the Perth Scorchers all across the park. At the end of the innings, Jordan was dismissed on 59 from 20 balls. Batting with a strike rate of 295, he went on to thump 6 fours and 5 sixes to help the Hurricanes put up 172 runs on the board.

Hobart Hurricanes were in the desperate need for a good finish. Chris Jordan with his brutal assault produced just that. The English bowling all-rounder, came down the order to batter the opponents from ball one.
With no time to waste, Jordan targeted the Perth Scorchers bowlers and thrashed every ball. It took him mere 17 balls to reach his fifty as he continued to swing his bat. He was ultimately dismissed on 59 from 20 balls, ending a powerful innings which helped his side post a decent total on the board to defend.
