Chennai Weather Report: Humid conditions expected for CSK vs RCB season opener

Generally, the weather during match time at the MA Chidambaram Stadium is hot and humid, but due to the season starting a little bit earlier this year, heat will not play a big factor in the IPL 2024 season opener.

Chennai Weather Report: A cracking game awaits us on March 22 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium. The defending champions, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK), will take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), hoping to kick things off in style. Apart from the pressure of playing in the IPL 2024 season opener, the players will also have to battle the tough conditions in Chennai.

The IPL 2024 season will start a few days earlier with the General Elections in mind. This bodes well for the players, who won’t have to battle severe heat in the first few matches in Chennai. As usual, the humidity will play a factor at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, but players will have the relief of slightly cooler playing conditions.
