Kohli’s second century against Pakistan came in the 4th match of the World Cup 2015. After coming in to bat in the 8th over, Indian number 3 took control of the innings. He took India from 34-1 to 273-3 when he got out. Kohli anchored the innings, allowing Shikhar Dhawan and Suresh Raina to open their arms and take India to a score of 300. The former Indian skipper reigned supreme in a rain-affected encounter in the fourth match of the Champions Trophy 2017. Kohli came in to bat when India were 136-1 in 25 overs and played an unbeaten knock of 81 to help India reach 319 in 48 overs. Kohli held one end and gave a free hand to Yuvraj Singh and Hardik Pandya, who scored 73 runs in just 38 balls to help India win by 124 runs.
Virat Kohli Top Knocks: 77 in World Cup 2019
The last time India played Pakistan in an ODI World Cup, Virat Kohli scored 77 off 65 balls and took India to a total of 336 runs in the 22nd match of the World Cup 2019. The Indian top three of KL Rahul, Rohit Sharma, and Kohli made 274 runs between them and beat Pakistan by 89 runs to maintain their World Cup win streak over their arch rivals.
Virat Kohli Top Knocks: 122* in Asia Cup 2023
Just a month ago (September 10, 2023), Kohli played one of his best knocks in a high-pressure match. India was already in a great position when the Delhi cricketer stepped into the middle. From 123-2, Kohli and KL Rahul stitched a 234-run stand, in which the right-hander scored 122* off 94 balls.
