After gaining captaincy in T20Is, Charith Asalanka has been given the opportunity to lead Sri Lanka in the one-day internationals as well. Sri Lanka Cricket (SCL) has announced a 16-man squad for the three ODIs against India.

With a blend of youthful talent and experience individuals, this Sri Lankan team is quite a solid one.
