The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 semi-final between India and Australia is underway at the Dubai International Stadium. While only one team will advance to the final, the semi-finalists will not leave the tournament empty-handed, as they will receive a prize for reaching this stage. How much money will semi-finalist get after losing in ICC Champions Trophy 2025?

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has set aside a total prize pool of $6.9 million for the 2025 Champions Trophy, marking a substantial 53% increase from the 2017 edition. The tournament winners will receive a massive $2.24 million (around ₹19.5 crore), while the runners-up will be granted $1.12 million (approximately ₹9.78 crore).

Each team that falls short in the semi-finals will be awarded $560,000 (roughly ₹4.89 crore) as prize money from the ICC.

The winners of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 will take home $2.24 million (₹20.8 crore), while the runners-up will take home $1.12 million (₹10.4 crore). Prior to this, the Indian Cricket Board significantly raised the prize money for both men’s and women’s domestic competitions.
