ICC Champions Trophy first match date, time & venue

The first match of the tournament will be played between the hosts Pakistan and New Zealand.

The 2025 ICC Champions Trophy is set to be an exciting tournament, returning after a hiatus since 2017. Hosted by Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the tournament will feature eight top-ranked teams competing in a total of 15 matches over 19 days.

The tournament is divided into two groups of four teams each. Group A includes Bangladesh, India, New Zealand, and Pakistan, while Group B consists of Afghanistan, Australia, England, and South Africa. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage, which includes two semi-finals and a final. Champions Trophy first match date & time

The first match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is scheduled for February 19, 2025, with Pakistan taking on New Zealand at the National Stadium in Karachi. The match is set to begin at 2:30 PM local time. The final will be held on March 9, 2025, in Lahore, with a reserve day in case of rain. If India reaches the final, the match will be moved to Dubai.
