Champions One-Day Cup: Teams, Captains, Provisional squad & other details of Pakistan’s 50-over league

The Champions One-Day Cup will start on September 12 in Pakistan, featuring the nation's former star players.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the captains and provisional squads for the highly anticipated Champions One-Day Cup, set to take place in Faisalabad from September 12 to 29.

The tournament will showcase Pakistan’s star cricketers competing in 50-over matches. Five teams will participate: Wolves, Panthers, Dolphins, Stallions, and Waqar Younis XI.

What is Champions One-Day Cup?

The best cricket players in the country will compete in this 50-over competition. Except for the Lions vs Panthers game on September 16, which has an early start time of 9:30 AM, all of the games are slated to start at 3 PM. Three playoff games will crown the event, with the championship game scheduled for Sunday, September 29. On September 12, the highly anticipated encounter between Misbah-ul-Haq’s Wolves and Saqlain Mushtaq’s Panthers will begin the tournament.
