‘Century loading for Shubman Gill’, Netizens react as Sara Tendulkar attends IND vs BAN

Fans were quick to tease Shubman Gill on social media with hilarious memes after Sara Tendulkar was spotted in stands in Pune.

Daughter of India’s legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Sara Tendulkar, was spotted cheering for Team India from the stands at the MCA Stadium in Pune during IND vs BAN World Cup match.

Notably, this is not the first time, Gill has been teased for his dating rumours. Earlier this year, the 24-year-old was teased by fans with Sara Ali Khan’s name during a match in the Holkar stadium.

During IND vs NZ 3rd ODI in January, fans were caught shouting, “Humaari bhabhi kaisi ho? Sara bhabhi jaisi ho.. (Sara should be our sister-in-law)”.

However, the reference in the chant was for Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan who was rumoured to be dating the Indian cricketer at that time.

Talking about the game, Team India have managed to push Bangladesh on backfoot after positive start from the openers. Tanzid Hasan (51) and Litton Das (66) scored half centuries as the visitors scored 93 without losing a wicket. However, the Indian spin duo of Kuldeep Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja changed the complexion of the game by picking wickets in regular intervals.

Bangladesh are currently six down against India. Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets while Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Shardul Thakur and Mohammed Siraj have taken one wicket each. Earlier, Bangladesh stand-in skipper Najmul Hossian Shanto won the toss and opted to bat against India.
