Sudeep Kiccha’s Karnataka Bulldozers beat Mumbai Heroes in the Celebrity Cricket League on Saturday Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad by 85 runs. Karnataka’s Krishna smashed an amazing 111 runs from just 36 balls, with good support from Manjunath, who scored 55. Karnataka scored 171/1 in their first 10 overs and 127/3 in their second innings.
Mumbai Heroes found it tough while chasing 171 and then 127 runs, even though Shabir Ahluwalia scored 51. Karan Aryan’s excellent bowling, taking 4 wickets, kept Mumbai in check. Karnataka’s strong batting and sharp bowling made it hard for Mumbai to catch up, and they couldn’t meet the target. They faced difficulty chasing these targets, managing only 100/7 in their first innings and 113/5 in their second innings.
