The 10th edition of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) kicked off in Sharjah. Mumbai Heroes and Kerala Strikers played the opening match of the CCL 2024 as Mumbai won in a nail-biter thriller. On the other hand, the final match of the Celebrity Cricket League will be played on March 17 in Visakhapatnam. On that note, let us take a look at some of the iconic moments in CCL history.

In a nail-biting encounter against Bengal Tigers in CCL 2018, Hardy Sandhu emerged as the hero for Punjab De Sher. His epic sixes in the dying situations of the match sealed the game in his side’s favour. Sandhu has been a regular member of the Punjab side in the CCL and has played several good cameos with the bat.
Bobby Deol brilliant bowling in CCL
Bobby Deol has been one of the most talked about players in the competition. In CCL 2021, his bowling skills were put on the display against the Telugu Warriors. However, Booby Deol will not be playing in CCL 2024.

Jisshu Sengupta’s offensive gesture to Kiccha Sudeep
In a semi-final clash during CCL 2016, Karnataka Bulldozers team lost an important wicket. Celebrating the wicket, Bengal Tigers team players, cheered loudly, which irked Sudeep. Jisshu then made a disrespectful gesture towards Sudeep’s team, which was very unexpected from him owing to his usually calm composure.
