As Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) gears up for IPL 2025, Pat Cummins is all set to return as captain. Following the announcement of player retentions, the franchise shared a heartfelt video featuring Cummins expressing his excitement for the upcoming season. “I am so excited to be here again with SRH. We had a great time earlier this year, playing some amazing cricket, and the crowd was phenomenal. When we walked out, it was awesome!” he shared.
In the video, Cummins highlighted the importance of retaining key players for the upcoming season. “It’s great to have some of the superstars back this season, including Abhishek Sharma at the top, Heinrich Klaasen, and Nitish Kumar Reddy,” he added. “Thank you so much for all your support, and we can’t wait to be back in Hyderabad,” he concluded.
SRH’s strategic retentions for IPL 2025
