While the world is waiting with bated breath for the India vs Pakistan match on June 9 at the Nassau Country Stadium in New York, questions are being raised on the pitch the ground is offering. India played Ireland in their T20 World Cup opener on the same ground on Wednesday and people waiting for a good T20 match was disappointed when India won by 8 wickets chasing 96 runs in a low-scoring tie.
Harsha Bhogle slams New York Pitch
Cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle on Wednesday took to social media to express his disappointment at the New York pitch, saying India vs Pakistan cannot be hosted in these kind of pitches.
“Have to do something about the pitches. Can’t imagine India vs Pakistan on this one,” Harsha Bhogle wrote on X (previously Twitter).

The New York pitch has been a point of discussion ever since India played their warm-up match against Bangladesh before the T20 World Cup began.
