Former India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar feels Dhruv Jurel should be promoted up the order in IPL 2024.The keeper-batter, who had an impressive IND vs ENG series, is a part of the Rajasthan Royals (RR). Gavaskar opines that Jurel should surely get a promotion in the batting order, given how he has batted this year and in IPL 2023.
New role for RR’s Dhruv Jurel in IPL 2024?
“Dhruv Jurel can be that person definitely. The way he has batted this year and the way he batted in the IPL last IPL, he can definitely get a promotion up the order,” Gavaskar told Star Sports.
Jurel earned himself a BCCI central contract after an impressive series against England. Along with Sarfaraz Khan, the keeper-batter was added to Grade C contract.
