Former England pacer Stuart Broad believes 21-year-old Mayank Yadav has all the attributes to play every single format of the game. The LSG pacer made a sizzling IPL debut, bowling the fastest delivery of IPL 2024 (155.8 kmph). Yadav’s fiery spell consisted of many deliveries above 150 kmph, stunning PBKS batters.

“He looks like he’s got the attributes to play every single format. First of all, India go and play the five Test matches against Australia in Australia. Does he look like he’s got the attributes to perform there? Of course! It looks like he’s got a good wrist position. I bet he can swing the red ball as well away from the bat,” Broad said speaking on Star Sports Press Box.
“Let’s let him just develop naturally and develop on a nice upward curve. But I think we’ll see him making a debut for India in the next 18 months,” he adds.

“This is my third reason. I didn’t get a chance in my first season and was injured the last season, so I waThe pace is my natural thing. My focus was always on the consistency. The moment I entered I knew I belonged there. As I took my first delivery I knew this was the moment and I had to make the best of it.” said Mayank speaking to the IPL website.
“My father inspired me to do this fast bowling. I think my inspiration and motivation is to be like Jasprit Bumrah, He is the best fast bowler in the world and I will try to be more like him. ” he added.
