‘Bye bye Pakistan’, Meme fest begins as Babar Azam & Co exit Cricket World Cup

Pakistan faced a Mission Impossible scenario against England. But as they failed to pull that off, they exit Cricket World Cup.

Pakistan Cricket Team are officially out of the Cricket World Cup 2023. Babar Azam & Co are playing their last group-stage match against the defending champs England at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Earlier in the match, Babar Azam & Co were asked to bowl first as England posted 337. With that, Pakistan needed to chase down the target in 6.5 overs in the PAK vs ENG clash. As they failed to do so, Indian fans were happy to bid the neighbours goodbye.

Speaking about the scenarios before the match, Babar Azam & Co needed to chase down a target of 20 in 1.3 overs. A target of 50 in 2.5 overs. A target of 150, in 3.4 overs. Targ of 150 in 3.4 overs. Target of 200 in 4.3 overs and 300 in 6.1 overs. These scenarios are unachievable. The best scenario while batting second is to chase don 20 in 9 balls and 50 in 17.

Batting first, England posted a total of 337 runs with fifties from Jonny Bairstow, Ben Stokes, Joe Root. Meanwhile, the skipper Jos Buttler, Harry Brook and David Willey played brilliant cameos with the bat. For Pakistan Cricket Team, Haris Rauf scalped three wickets. However, he also went on to become the bowler with highest run conceded in the WC.
