Buchi Babu Tournament 2024: Schedule, Team, Live streaming & All you need to know

The 2024 edition of the Buchi Babu Tournament is set to commence on August 15, with Indian cricket stars Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav eager to showcase their skills as they work towards a Test comeback. Ahead of the tournament, here are Buchi Babu Tournament schedule.

What is the format of Buchi Babu tournament?

Twelve teams, divided equally into four groups, will compete fiercely for the Buchi Babu Trophy. The four-day tournament features 10 state teams, including Railways, along with two teams from Tamil Nadu: the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) President’s XI and TNCA XI.

Buchi Babu Tournament price money

The Buchi Babu Tournament will follow the four-day format used in the Ranji Trophy. The winning team will be awarded a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, while the runners-up will receive Rs 2 lakh.
