While Sarfaraz Khan is the newest batting sensation in the longest format of the game for Team India, his younger brother Musheer Khan has emerged as the next big thing in Indian domestic circuit, after his superlative performances. So, when the duo was picked for the upcoming Duldeep Trophy 2024-25 it did not come as a big surprise. The two were poised to be there.
But what is surprising though is, that both Sarfaraz Khan and Musheer Khan are part of the same team — Team B in the Duleep Trophy 2024-25. They would play under Bengal batsman Abhimanyu Easwaran, with the team also featuring Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Washinghton Sundar, Ravindra Jadeja, and Mohammed Siraj.
Sarfaraz Khan & Musheer Khan Excellent Record
If one just speaks about their first-class record, it is nothing short of exceptional. In the 48 matches so far, Sarfaraz has managed 4112 runs at an average of 68.53. On the other hand, Musheer seems to be replicating his elder brother’s form. He has scored six first-class matches and scored 529 runs, at an average of 58. In fact, he has seven wickets to his name as well, and is an emerging all-rounder.
