After an exciting finish in last edition, Bangladesh Premier League is set to make a comeback next month. The players draft for the BPL 2024 were held in September and all squads look balanced on the paper. The Comilla Victorians won the last Bangladesh Premier League, defeating the Sylhet Strikers in the final by seven wickets. The victory was Comilla Victorians’ fourth BPL title. 

Every new edition of the BPL starts in January and ends in February. Started in 2012, Bangladesh Premier League is one of the entertaining T20 cricket leagues. Over the years, the league has been growing and is now battling against other top competitions to attract the world’s best players.

As mentioned above, Comilla Victorians won the last BPL edition. The victory was Comilla Victorians’ fourth BPL title. The last tournament saw seven teams compete for the prized trophy. The Rajshahi Royals did not participate in the league, leaving just seven teams to play. It was slightly different from the 2022 edition of the competition, which featured six franchises. In recent years, there has been a fluctuation of teams competing in the BPL.
