Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya on Thursday spoke about how they can turn the dismal run of form in IPL 2024 around. MI have only won two of the first six games of the season, and are looking for a turnaround when they face Punjab Kings at the Mullanpur Cricket Stadium.
‘Good toss to lose’
Punjab Kings won the toss and chose to field in the crucial game. When asked about it, Hardik Pandya said it was a good toss lose since they preferred to bat first in the game.
“We wanted to bat first, so it’s a good toss to lose,” Hardik said.
Everyone has to commit towards our goals: Hardik
When asked about how they planned to turn their campaign around, the Mumbai Indians captain said, “There were a couple of games where we had the match in our grasp but did not finish it. That can happen. The IPL is a kind of tournament that tests you. If the game is not over, it’s not over. That is something we have learnt. We try to make sure we go out there and give our 100% every game.

“We have spoken about how every individual will have to commit towards the team’s goals. Once we start doing that, the wheels are going to turn. The boys are pretty pumped up as well. We are keeping the results aside and focusing on the things which are important,” Hardik further added.
