Cricket Australia chief Nick Hockley has compared the Border-Gavaskar Trophy to the prestigious Ashes and has said that both are on par in terms of commercial value. The Ashes is the biggest event in Australia’s cricket calendar while the BGT will take place in November when the side will locks horns with India. CA chief Hockley claimed that the ticket sales for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy was six times higher than for any series in the pre-COVID era.
