Express pacer Jasprit Bumrah was the star with the ball during the second innings of IND vs SA 2nd Test. The right-arm pacer scalped a total of six wickets to absolutely demolish the South African batting line-up.
It must be mentioned that Bumrah made his Test debut in Cape Town back in 2018. Before the IND vs SA 2nd Test, the pacer shared a heartfelt post on Instagram sharing his memories. Replying to the post, Suryakumar Yadav correctly predicted that Bumrah will take a five-wicket haul as he wrote, “Panjaaaaaa hai idhar pakkaaaa (Fifer is confirmed here).”
Later on, Suryakumar went on share the screenshot of his comment as he wrote ‘Bola toh bola’.
Speaking more about his spell on Day 2, Bumrah took the wickets of David Bedingham, Kyle Verreynne, Marco Jansen and Keshav Maharaj to notch the five-wicket haul. He also scalped the last wicket of Lungi Ngidi to complete eight wickets in the IND vs SA 2nd Test.
Thanks to Bumrah’s efforts with the ball, team India registered a comfortable win over South Africa as they also levelled the two-match series in Cape Town. Apart from Bumrah, Mohammed Siraj was also in his lethal best as he took seven wickets in the match with a five-wicket haul in the first innings.
