Pant claimed two catches (David Miller and Rashid Khan) and two stumpings (Abhinav Manohar and Shahrukh Khan) against the Gujarat Titans.

Rishabh Pant is well and truly back. After returning to the sport after 15 months, everyone was concerned about his fitness. Given how challenging wicketkeeping can be, people wondered whether Pant would ever be at his best behind the stumps. Three weeks into his comeback, Pant is looking better than ever.

He already has the most dismissals by any keeper in the IPL 2024 season and gave a blast from the past against the Gujarat Titan. The Delhi Capitals skipper pulled off a MS Dhoni-esque stumping. With the Titans already struggling, Pant produced magic behind the stumps, sending Abhinav Manohar back to the hut in a jiffy.

Pant has also joined an illustrious list after stumping two batters out in the GT vs DC match. He’s now ranked fifth on the list of wicketkeepers with the most stumpings, behind legends like MS Dhoni and Dinesh Karthik. With age on his side, Pant is on his way to claim the record.
