During this time, he appeared even fitter than before. Hardik Pandya is currently in India as he was not selected for the Test team that is touring the West Indies. Pant appeared to be in a light-hearted mood and they continued talking for quite some time. Watching the wicket-keeper-batter, it seems that he is now better than before and recovering well. Fans are expecting that he will soon return to the field in full form.

However, there has been no official statement from the BCCI and NCA regarding Pant’s return to the field yet. Though, this is the first time after the accident that Pant was seen without a knee cap. On 30th December last year, while traveling from Delhi to Roorkee, Pant had a serious accident, but fortunately, he escaped narrowly. He has been recovering for the past 7 months.

Insidesport

Before the World Cup 2023, the fitness and injury concerns of players are becoming a major issue in front of the BCCI and team management. Currently, KL Rahul and Jasprit Bumrah are also recovering at the NCA. The situation regarding Rishabh Pant’s participation in the World Cup remains uncertain. Considering the players’ fitness and workload management, it is likely that all key players will be given breaks under rotation until the World Cup.
