India’s veteran pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar made a stunning return to first class cricket as he bagged a five-wicket haul in the ongoing Ranji Trophy match between Uttar Pradesh (UP) and Bengal on Friday.
In his return to red-ball cricket after almost six years, Bhuvneshwar bagged a fifer to spark UP’s comeback in the game.
While batting first, Nitish Rana-led UP team were bundled out for just 60 runs in the first innings. However, 33-year-old pacer bowled a splendid spell and claimed a fifer while conceding only 21 runs in 11.4 overs to pull his side back in the game.

With the squad yet to be announced, Bhuvneshwar Kumar would be hoping to catch the selectors’ eyes with this performance.
