Omprakash Babarao, nicknamed Bacchu Kadu, the leader of the Prahar Janshakti Party (PJP) who are ally of the Maharashtra government on Thursday organised a loud demonstration outside the Mumbai residence of Bharat Ratna Sachin Tendulkar.
This was to denounce the India legend for advocating online gaming in a commercial.
Numerous people, including Bacchu Kadu, arrived outside Tendulkar’s house with banners and placards, shouting slogans critical of the master blaster. They urged him to stop supporting such immoral actions within 15 days that might have an effect on the next generation.
Later, when other supporters staged a sit-in protest outside the police station, Kadu and at least a dozen of his activists were taken from there and detained by the Bandra Police.

The PJP MLA claimed that they would not have attacked Tendulkar if the Bharat Ratna award had not been given to him, adding that personal gain should come before the good of the country.
Kadu yelled outside Tendulkar’s house, “He should return the Bharat Ratna immediately if he wants to earn Rs 300 crore by promoting such things.”
He sent a letter to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde about it a few days ago, demanding that the Bharat Ratna, the nation’s highest distinction, be revoked if Tendulkar continued to support unethical practises like online gambling.
The Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government’s former minister Kadu had also threatened Tendulkar with legal action if he did not immediately stop appearing in the online gaming advertisements.
Kadu and his workers swooped down to the Tendulkar residence for a protest on August 31 after receiving no response from Shinde.
