Bharat Arun reckons Jasprit Bumrah will have a ‘major role’ to play in IND vs SA 2nd Test

Bharat Arun said that Jasprit Bumrah will not just be crucial just as bowler but as a leader of the pack in IND vs SA 2nd Test.

Former Indian bowling coach, Bharat Arun opined that India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah will play a major role for India in IND vs SA 2nd Test, starting on January 3 in Cape Town.

Bumrah was the only Indian bowler who stood out in otherwise disappointing Test match at Centurion.

Bharat Arun said that Bumrah will not just be crucial as a bowler but as a leader of the pack as well.

“It is not only about his bowling, but also how he marshals the other bowlers becomes extremely important”, Bharat told RevSportz.

The former bowling coach heaped high praise on Bumrah and said he is a “thinking” bowler.

“He’s very keen, he is extremely sharp. He’s a very, very thinking bowler too. And I’m sure the bowlers must have sat together, they would have reworked their strategies and Bumrah will have a major role to play in the bowlers coming back for the next Test match”, Bharat added.

After a crushing defeat at Centurion, India will look to make a comeback to draw series in Cape Town. The IND vs SA 2nd Test kick starts on 3rd January at Newlands Stadium.
