Beware India! Ben Stokes starts bowling ahead of IND vs ENG 3rd Test

Earlier, England director of cricket Rob Key had said that Stokes, who went through a left knee surgery in November, will not bowl in the series.

England Test captain Ben Stokes is set to hit the full throttle in his 100th Test as the star all-rounder has begin bowling in nets ahead of IND vs ENG 3rd Test, starting on February 15 in Rajkot.

Earlier, England director of cricket Rob Key had said that Stokes, who went through a left knee surgery in November, will not bowl in the series.

However, it seems the 32-year-old has regained full fitness and has started bowling in nets.

Stokes was seen bowling in nets at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in team’s first practice session post return from Abu Dhabi.

Jack Leach ruled out of remainder of series

Meanwhile, England have been hit with a big injury blow as veteran pinner Jack Leach has been ruled out of the final three Test due to knee injury.

Leach suffered the injury during the first Test in Hyderabad and missed the second Test due to injury. However, the spinner now has been ruled out.
