Bengaluru Weather Live Updates: Match to start at 8:25 PM as rain stops

Throughout this week, Bengaluru has witnessed incessant rains. The IMD had earlier issued an yellow alert for today (May 18), warning about inclement weather.

The weather isn’t looking that great in Bengaluru, hours before the RCB vs CSK match. Right now, clouds are hovering over the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, and while the pitch doesn’t seem to be covered, the view isn’t exactly optimistic for what is a virtual playoff match between two of the biggest teams in the IPL.

We have a starting time

The RCB vs CSK match will start at 8:25, and no overs have been lost.

Play to start soon?

The rain seems to have stopped, and the covers are coming off. But we still don’t have a starting time yet.

Rain stops play

The rain had started pouring down a couple of overs ago, and now it’s stopped the match as well. After just three overs, players are going off.

It seems like the rain has returned at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. After clear skies for the last two hours, the ground staff have covered the pitch.

The weather has improved, about 1.5 hours before the toss. Will we see it change once again?

Rain coming?

The weather gods don’t seem to be too kind. Starting at 6 PM, there is at least a 30% chance of rain until 12.

Not looking good right now
