Ben Stokes shows heartwarming gesture
Playing in his final ODI, Stokes showed a great gesture by handing his cap to a young fan in the crowd. The young kid was seen equally thrilled while he received the cap. Stokes goes down as one of the legends of the game having guided England to its first ever ODI World Cup.
The young boy was seen cherished and will have a memory of lifetime. Stokes though has bowed out of the format as one of the best of his generations.

It was an emotional day for the 31-year-old, who in the prime of his career has given up a format to dedicate himself fully to Test cricket and the T20Is. He was given a standing ovation by the crowd. While Stokes was dismissed for 5 he also didn’t have a great day with the ball as he was taken for runs by the South African batters.
Stokes gave away 44 runs in the five over he bowled without picking up a wicket. The Proteas put up a huge score of 333/5 on the board with Rassie van der Dussen as five of the seven England bowlers gave away more than 6 runs per over.

Stokes guides England to World Cup
While Bairstow gave Stokes a pat on the back while walking off as every single person in the stadium including England’s support staff stood up on their feet to applaud Stokes’ contribution. Stokes will go down as the legend of the English game as he thrilled the crowd in the 2019 World Cup at Lord’s.
Stokes was the alone man standing who took England home in what is to date the most frantic World Cup game ever. Recently, Stokes’ former teammate and World Cup-winning captain Eoin Morgan also announced his retirement from the game.
