Ben Stokes praises Jos Buttler

England’s Test captain, Ben Stokes took to social media to praise his fellow teammate. He wrote, “Genuinly would have been more surprised if @josbuttler didn’t finish that game off when Powell got out, that’s how good the man is..his ability to read game situations and take emotion out of it is what set’s him apart 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥”

It will be Jos Buttler who will be leading the Three Lions in the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup. Ben Stokes won’t be part of the ICC tournament. Stokes pulled out of the World Cup, claiming that he needs rest for his body as England aim to defend their title.

But praises fall short for Buttler. The RR opener has now gone on to slam 2 tons in IPL 2024 while chasing for his side. Buttler’s 107 unbeaten from 60 deliveries saw his side chase down 223 runs in the last ball of the game to extend their lead in the top spot of the IPL 2024 Points Table.
