Hardik Pandya faces an uphill task in MI vs RR:
Hardik Pandya’s first game as captain of the Mumbai Indians (MI) has not gone well. After completing a surprise transfer to Mumbai for the 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL), Hardik’s MI suffered back-to-back losses. Hardik failed to pass the leadership test against his previous club, as the Gujarat Titans (GT) outperformed the Rohit Sharma-led team in their IPL 2024 debut.
Hardik and his teammates were then outplayed by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in a match in which the 2016 winners scored the greatest total in IPL history. Hardik’s MI team, known as perpetual sluggish starts in the cash-rich league, has arrived in Mumbai for their first home game of the new season.
