BCCI’s own Legends League?

Not just IPL like bidding, the former players have also requested Jay Shah to have city based franchise teams just like it is the case with IPL. The BCCI is expected to explore all avenues to make the league a reality.

“We have received a proposal from former cricketers in this regard, which is being considered. However, it is still at the proposal stage,” a BCCI official told Dainik Jagran.

Reports claim that the BCCI can’t host the Legends League this season. First and foremost the league needs to be approved, followed by all the necessary things that are required to make it a success. And with IPL 2025 mega auction upcoming, if this Legends League by the BCCI becomes a reality, then it can only take place next year.
