BCCI to host first post-COVID Annual Awards on January 23

BCCI Annual Awards is all set to take place on January 23, making a return after a two-year gap due to COVID

The Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) will host its edition of the annual awards on January 23, just before the 1st IND vs ENG Test. The ceremony had been stalled for the last couple of years, owing to COVID. As per TOI, the award function will be held in Hyderabad.

BCCI Annual Awards: What happened last time

In the previous edition in 2020, premium pacer Jasprit Bumrah bagged the highest honur by winning the Polly Umrigar Award for the best international cricketer in 2018-19. IND-W’s Poonam Yadav bagged the top honour for the women’s while Anjum Chopra was given the Lifetime Acheievement Award.
