The wait will finally be over! The much-anticipated Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 schedule has been announced by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). We already know a few things. Kolkata Knight Riders are all set to face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their tournament opener at the Eden Gardens on March 22. Kolkata will be the venue for the IPL 2025 Final and the Qualifier 2. While Hyderabad will host the Eliminator and Qualifier 1.

IPL 2025 Schedule: What we know so far
Opening Match: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) vs. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at Eden Gardens on March 22.
Playoffs: Qualifier 2 and the IPL 2025 final will be played at the Eden Gardens. Qualifier 1 and Eliminator at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Sunrisers Hyderabad’s First Match: SRH will play their opening match against RR on the afternoon of March 23.
CSK vs MI Clash: Chennai Super Kings are likely to host MI at Chepauk on the evening of March 23.
Venues: The tournament will be played across 13 venues. (Delhi and Vizag for the Delhi Capitals, Guwahati and Rajasthan for the Rajasthan Royals, Dharamshala and Punjab for the Punjab Kings)
