BCCI ditches BookMyShow? Next ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets sale on this website

"BookMyShow confirmed to Insidesport that tickets will be available on their website."

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is all set to release 4,00,000 tickets in the next phase for the ODI World Cup 2023 after stern backlash from fans. It is notable that BCCI didn’t mentioned BookMyShow name in their 4 lakhs tickets for World Cup 2023 announcement. The Indian board just mentioned the name of ICC website, prompting many of users to think that next phase of WC Tickets will only be available on ICC official website.

BookmyShow came under spotlight owing to unpleasant experience of fans on the their ticketing site. Several reports surfaced that BookMyShow might not be the title sponsor for the second phase of tickets.

However, After discussions with the hosting state associations, the BCCI has announced the release of approximately 400,000 tickets for the highly anticipated tournament.

This measure is aimed at accommodating as many passionate cricket fans as possible, ensuring their participation in this historic event.
