As per reports, The ICC and BCCI will each receive 300 free hospitality tickets as needed for each game. Furthermore, the state must provide the ICC with 1295 tickets for league games and 1355 tickets for the matches against India and the semifinals.

The process is likely to take a few more days with the World Cup 2023 tickets likely to be available from August 10. Earlier, issues with the WC schedule and the delay in finalising a partner delayed the entire process. BCCI will now delegate management of the ODI World Cup 2023 Tickets sales to two online ticketing platforms. Both BookMyShow and Paytm will manage sale of WC tickets. However, there will be no digital tickets.

Nearly half of the World Cup matches will likely be handled by each of the two ticketing companies: Paytm and BookMyShow. Fans will still need to have the physical copy of their actual tickets on them. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah promised that all venues will set up multiple collection centres days in advance of the match.
