The BCCI Naman Awards are back, and in 2025, they acknowledge the contributions of numerous cricket icons once again—players who have made a remarkable impact on Indian cricket, as well as emerging talents. Since its inception in 2006, this prestigious award not only honours cricketers but also recognises the vital role of umpires in the game.
For 2025, several notable names received recognition for their contributions, from the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who received the Col. CK Nayudu Lifetime Achievement Award for his 24 years of service to Indian cricket, to R. Ashwin, who recently retired from international cricket and will be honoured with the BCCI Special Award.
