The Moin-ul-Haq Stadium, built in 1969, holds a special place in Bihar cricket history. Having hosted nine international matches, including a fixture in the 1996 Cricket World Cup, the stadium is set for a significant upgrade.

Long-term vision for Bihar Cricket

The BCA secured the stadium on a long-term lease from the Bihar government earlier this year. Currently serving as the home ground for the Bihar Cricket Team, the Moin-ul-Haq Stadium recently hosted Ranji Trophy matches during the 2024 season.

With the BCCI’s backing, the revamped Moin-ul-Haq Stadium promises to be a game-changer for Bihar cricket. This state-of-the-art facility will provide a world-class environment for players, officials, and fans, fostering the growth of the sport in the region.
