The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will hold its 21st Apex Council meeting on December 18. However, the venue and timings of the meeting has not been announced yet.
As per BCCI press release, the sponsorship of the home matches and video equipments for domestic matches will be the key agenda of the meeting.
“Confirmation of the minutes from the 20th Apex Council meeting, a discussion on BCCI match sponsorship, an update on the appointment of a service provider for video equipment to cover domestic matches, and consideration of any other matters the chairperson deems necessary to include on the agenda are all on the agenda”, BCCI said in the statement.
The board also mentioned the success of the recently concluded ODI World Cup which broke previous viewership records.
“During the ODI World Cup 2023, which India hosted, many records were broken. Nevertheless, it also noted that 1,250,307 people watched all 48 games at the Indian venues, breaking the previous record of 1,016,420 set during the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand”, the statement further read.
While the Indian board acknowledged Team India’s performance in the ODI World Cup, it is not known whether the review of team’s performances will be on agenda.
