BCCI announces Team India schedule as Harmanpreet Kaur-led side ready to host West Indies & Ireland

While Team India is already part of the Women's ODI World Cup 2025 as they are the hosts, West Indies are in a battle with Sri Lanka and New Zealand for a spot.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the schedule for Team India (Senior Women)’s upcoming home series against West Indies and Ireland. The action-packed season will kick off in December with a three-match T20I series followed by three ODIs against West Indies. Subsequently, India will face Ireland in a three-match ODI series in January.

The Harmanpreet Kaur-led side played three WODIs against New Zealand, winning the series 2-1 in Ahmedabad. With their three Women’s ODIs against West Indies, international cricket will return to Baroda, who last hosted a WODI back in 2019. Much will be riding for the Hayley Matthews and her women as they eye a direct qualification in the next year’s Women’s ODI World Cup in India. And now with the new fixtures announcement, these three ODIs will act as a great opportunity for match practice for Harmanpreet Kaur and her women.
